Our 50th Year

In 2012, we celebrated the 50th year of Sherwood Oaks by commiting ourselves to pray, serve and give like we have never done before. During the course of the year, the congregation logged over 50,000 hours of prayer, 50,000 hours of service within the church and 50,000 hours of service outside the church. In addition, we launched Unleashed, our commitment to raise $5 Million to pay off the remaining church mortgage and give over $700,000 away to deserving organizations in the community and around the world.

To celebrate where we have come from, we created a special print piece full of memories and stories from the first 50 years of Sherwood Oaks. You can pick up a copy of this piece in the foyer on Sunday mornings or you can download an electronic version of it here.
