A Call to Prayer:

Jesus was a model of prayer and that’s what we need to become as well.  Follow his example and pray:

• That we will glorify God with every thought, word and deed.
• That we will commit to pray 50,000 hours this year.
• That we will commit to serve 50,000 hours outside our walls
• That we will commit to serve 50,000 hours in in the church
• That we will commit to give 5 million dollars in 2012 to pay down debt and free up money to meet Kingdom needs.
• That we will commit to pray for wisdom for our staff, elders and team leaders. 

When you pray:

Focus on God today. You can have time with God today. Don't make empty promises about tomorrow's faithfulness. Today's faithfulness gives you a good chance for tomorrow's success. We believe praying is as natural - and as necessary - to spiritual life as breathing is to physical life. Intentional prayer leads to a renewed spiritual power you never imagined possible.

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will turn back to you.  Psalm 51:10-13 TNIV

Alone with God:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Father, for this reason I kneel before you, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of Your glorious riches You will strengthen me with power through the Spirit in my inner being, so that You may dwell in my heart through faith.
