When a kid transitions into middle school, we want that child to have experienced and own three basic truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52 (light bulb moment—now you know what the 252 means):

I need to make the wise choice.

I can trust God no matter what.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.  1 Peter 2:11-12 (NIV 1984)

Preteens are in a state of transition. Area56 is a place where they can prepare for their move our of elementary school into the new world of jr. high. Your child will strengthen their faith learning why they believe what they believe and why it matters.  They will enter jr. high with a firm foundation where they can live such good lives that others will glorify God.

Come explore the Stories of God so we can discover the Character of God with themes such as Knowledge, Creativity, Gratitude, Generosity, Self Control and Honor plus a whole lot more.  Be sure to show up early to enjoy snacks and the game room for some Air Hockey, Foosball or X Box.

Service is offered during both the 9:30am and 11:00am hours. Area56 is located in the south end of the Ed. Building and can be accessed from doors 13, passing through the Gym or directly through Door 11.

Looking to come for your first time?  Download our visitor information card and bring it with you on Sunday morning to the Welcome Spot inside door 15. We will print your child's name badge, give you your security tag and show you and your child to their class.
