Area56 Performance Teams

The performance team has big plans for fall and Christmas including a verrrry special puppet performance for Christmas!  Kara Ingram leads this ministry for 5^th and 6^th graders to serve, worship, and have a blast together!  Area56 Performance Teams meet in the Kids Choir room across from the K/1 room.

Kids’ GPS Give|Pray|Serve

Kids will learn about prayer warriors, servant leaders, and generous givers, then get the chance to practice for themselves!  2^nd-4^th graders will grow in their practice and expression of faith doing prayer stations, service projects, and discovering how they can give in this engaging, hands-on class. They can play a part in Sherwood Oaks 50^th year anniversary celebration efforts this way, too!

PraiseMakers | Band of Angels

1^st Graders, Kindergarteners, 4 & 5 year olds; 2 & 3 year olds. This winter and pring they will continue the series called What's in the Bible on Wednesday nights.  PraiseMakers meet in the K/1 room and the Band of Angels meet in the Tot Spot.

Bible Bowl

Bible Bowl is a national, scripture memory-based, competitive Bible program for 3^rd graders through high schoolers. Practices are Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm for elementary and junior high students and 6-8pm for high schoolers. Join us in the south end of the Ed. Building.
