New to Sherwood Oaks High School Ministry? The place to connect is at The Six! We meet Sunday evenings at 6pm in the Student Ministry Area.  Come hungry because we always have great food. The rest of the night is built around building relationships through groups, activities and teaching that challenges us to examine our lives in light of the Biblical principles that reveal how God works from the beginning of time. Also, we throw in a different event night each month for a fun, relaxed way to make new friends. Coming up on September 25 we'll have movie night; and October 30 is our costume party!

This class is a Bible study taking place on Sunday mornings. The Sunday Morning 9:30am Class meets weekly in room G150 and goes beyond principles, as we examine what Scripture says and learn how to read it in it’s context. We want to help students become more familiar with what the Bible says, and how it was written over many centuries to people in a historical context.  Currently we are going through an in depth study of the Sermon on the Mount.  This class will help students better know and understand what Scripture says and challenge them to develop healthy, mental habits when approaching the text.  We meet at 9:30am in room G150.

Wednesday Nights at the Pourhouse Café offers High School students a chance to have some tasty drinks or snacks with some laid back fellowship and time of prayer.  We will focus each week on a different ministry partner of SOCC, learn about the Kingdom work God is doing through them, and lift them up in prayer.  All are invited each Wednesday evening from 6:30pm-7:30pm. The Pourhouse is located on Kirkwood Avenue across from the Monroe County Library.
