getting i2u: a shower that’s bigger than the front door

In the time Kevin King has been a part of Sherwood Oaks’ Community Response Ministry, he has encountered some interesting opportunities and situations. His most memorable experience occurred when a local couple asked for some help installing a wheelchair-accessible shower for their grandson. “We got a special shower from Lowe’s, but at the time we didn’t realize that it was actually wider than the front door! Fortunately, there were some skilled carpenters on our team and they were able to remove some siding and the wall temporarily so we could get the shower in and finish the project.”
