Minute Message October 2 John Muffler

Oct 2, 2014

Life can get fairly crazy this time of year. From running my kids to school and activities, to long hours at work, finding the time to try to date my wife. There is always one more project that has my attention. Very rarely do I have the time to see what’s happening outside my windows.

Hello my name is John Muffler from with Sherwood oaks Christian Church with your minute message.

If you are anything like me, I need to be reminded to slow down and see the beauty around me.

Psalm 19:1 says this; the heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Over the next few weeks south central Indiana will be stunning. Take a walk on campus, an afternoon drive to Brown county state park, or gather the family for that last backyard BBQ.

God’s beauty is on display in every blue sky, orange sunset, and red leaf.

The brilliance around us is reflecting God’s glory. My prayer for us is that we take the time today to remember that we were made to reflect His glory in how we live.
