God, thank you for the promise of Christmas. As we think about and approach this holiday season, help us to take the time to remember you in the midst of everything else vying for our attention. Help us to look to your Son, the manger and the star shining brightly as the promise of a new world is born. We are so thankful that we get to be called yours. Help us share you with the world this Christmas. Amen.
