Brad Pontius

I am the husband of Gail, my life's mate and best friend. We have 3 children - Claire, Joel, & Jesse who have each made me very proud.

Gail is a teacher of Applied Linguistics/ESL at Indiana University. Claire married John Roth. Both are teachers living in Bloomginton. Joel Married Laura Bowman. They live in Laramie WY where Joel is hunting elk, deer, & speed goats whenever possible. On the side he's teaching, & finishing his MA in Natural Science - Ecology at the University of Wyoming. Laura directs the ESL program for the Laramie school system. Jesse is a Mechanical Engineering Technology major at Purdue. They've all passed me by in experience, intelligence, and influence. That's why I'm so proud of them.

I've been told that I have the best job ever because I get to travel the world, make friends, and help people along the way. In 2009 we plan to travel to Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Taiwan, Indonesia, North India, Eritrea, Spain, and Uganda to see what God is doing in those places through humble, compassionate people who believe that we're here to make a difference in the lives of others - to share the grace and love that God gives us every day. I guess I do have the best job ever.
