Elizabeth Howard

Eric Hafner

“I want to.” Jesus says this to a man in Mark, chapter one right before he heals him. This is a favorite sentence of Jesus’ teachings for Elizabeth Howard, administrative assistant for the Jr. High, Senior High, and Sports Ministries. It has special meaning to her because when Jesus wants something he REALLY wants it, and these three words are a simple, but powerful reminder to her of how much he wants all of us.

Elizabeth grew up in Ellettsville, Indiana and loves to read, pretend she’s a kick boxer, and eat dried apricots. Elizabeth Howard and LyvieShe also has a little girl, Lyvie, who she looks at quite often in complete amazement. Her best friend of all time is her sister, Amanda, who has the most beautiful laugh in the world. Her goal in life is just to be a helper wherever she’s lead.

SOCC has been her home church for eleven years and she is very excited to be working in such a warm and familiar atmosphere filled with warm and familiar people. Computer work is fun, but Frisbee in the hallway is way more cool.

Stan Killebrew says:

“I’m thrilled to have Elizabeth working on our team. She has a passion for her work and an affinity with young people. She’s doing a great job!”
