Joe Abram
Joe was born in Bloomington, started school at Fairview elementary, but shortly after that, moved to Ellettsville and graduated in 1984 from Edgewood. He then went on to college at Purdue University and graduated in 1988 with a BS degree in Mechanical Technology.
Later that year, Joe married the love of his life, Missy. Since then, he has worked at General Electric, Otis Elevator, Naval Air Warfare Center, and now at NSWC Crane where he works as a System Safety Engineer.
Missy grew up in Solsberry, graduating from Eastern in 1987. She went on to IU to get a BS in Nursing. She is a stay at home mom, raising their two kids, Connor and Breanna. She enjoys working part time at Southern Indiana Pediatrics, and the Indiana Specialty Surgery Center when time permits.
The Abram Family started attending SOCC in 1992. They have been a part of several activities, including choir, drama, VBS, small groups, bible studies, core groups, Hilltop Christian Camp, all the children's areas from the newborns to area 56 currently. Joe says "We try to walk the walk."
Joe enjoys motorcycle riding, bicycle riding, running, hiking, camping, playing guitar, singing, and hanging out with friends.
