Tom Petry

Tom and Bev both grew up in Bloomington. They have one daughter, Amy, married to Jason Lanham, Minister of Media at SOCC. Amy is a stay at home Mom.

Tom graduated from Indiana University with both a Bachelors and a Masters degree. He recently retired after teaching high school math for thirty-eight years at Bloomington High School South. Bev was a secretary in the Human Resources Department for the local school system until her retirement in June of 2004.

Tom and Bev became members of SOCC in 1971. Tom is serving as elder, trustee, treasurer, and helps Steve Young, Maintenance Director, with inside and outside projects. Bev serves on a food team.
