I don’t know about you, but my life is a series of peaks and valleys–good days and challenging days.
Hi, I’m Allen Burris from Sherwood Oaks Christian Church with today’s Minute Message.
Things happen to me; things happen to others. Sometimes we rejoice, and sometimes we weep. There’s a song we sing at church that says:
God on the mountain Is still God in the valley.
This provides a pervasive sense of peace for the path. The Words of Philippians 4 from The Message point to the True Source of peace. It says:
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
I hope you have a really good and peaceful day on your journey!
