I find myself in a season of being static. I feel like I am constantly finding things to do with my time but I feel like I am not moving in a direction. I am doing my job, spending time with my family and working on things around the house. So what is my problem? I am not seeking God and working on my relationship with our creator. Unfortunately, the focus is on me!
If I want to see progress in life, I need a strong relationship with Christ. Before I start anything else in my day, I need to spend time talking with Jesus, reading God’s word or worshipping Him. He will feed my soul! It is easy for me to point out what I need to be doing to find purpose in my everyday tasks but it is not always easy to put into action. Just as I am challenging myself to start the day off right, I want you to do the same if you find yourself in a rut. Let’s quinch our thirst and put Jesus first!
