Defiant Joy: A Women's Study of the Letter of Paul to the Philippians

How do you make sense of the good news of the gospel being good, when life is anything but? Some seasons bend us to the breaking point while squeezing the joy out of us. Desperate for relief, we often search for joy in all the wrong places, places that will never satisfy or bring true peace. So where do we find joy in the midst of life’s breakable moments? The Apostle Paul discovered that true joy comes only through the saving work of Jesus Christ. In his powerful letter to the Philippian Church, he shows us that joy is always possible with Christ. Join us this fall as we study the book of Philippians and what it means to have DEFIANT JOY. Study will begin on August 28th with study times at 9:30am or 6pm.
