Every October, we as a church collect cans of Yams and Cranberries to send to Backstreet Mission for their Thanksgiving Baskets. Over the years it has become more and more difficult to meet our donation commitment, which is 1,000 cans of yams and 1,000 cans of cranberries.
But, here's the challenge!
If every family that attends Sherwood Oaks would bring one can of each, we could meet our commitment in as little as two weeks. How easy is that!?!?!
Bring your cans of yams and cranberries and put them in the donation bins at doors 3, 5 or 20 on Sunday or drop them off during the week at the church office.
Let's knock this collection out in just a couple weeks! We can do it!
