We’re in that magical time of year when the days get warmer, flowers start blooming, and the grass literally gets greener on the other side of each day. It won’t be long until a finely- tuned symphony of lawnmowers will be heard every time you walk outside. Spring is almost here!
One of the reasons I love this time of year is that that we get to see the message of the Gospel played out right in front of us. God designed his Creation, at least in our neck of the woods, to proclaim the good news of resurrection life. Out of the dormancy and death of winter, new life is born.
That is the promise of Easter that we’ll celebrate this month. Paul says in Ephesians 2 that, apart from Jesus, we are dead in our sin, but, we can be made alive in Christ. Jesus is the only One who makes all things new...including you.
Have you found that new life? If so, spend some time thanking Jesus for what He’s doing in you and ask him how you can take the good you’ve received and share it with others.
