To be Holy is to be purely separated from sin - perfect and righteousness with love. Only God is Holy.
The victory has been won because of the resurrection of Christ.
Jesus is the example that we look to. He showed us how to love God, each other, and ourselves. We, as Christians, need to set the standard of becoming more like Christ. Not rules and pressures that other people put on us. It doesn’t matter what other people think; what does matter is what Jesus thinks of us.
Jesus knows the full truth of every relationship and every situation. We don’t have to defend, justify or convince anyone of anything regarding our salvation, or doing what He wants us to do. We simply follow Him.
One day, because we are following Jesus, and becoming like Him, we will raise to eternal life. This hope, and, putting our mind on eternity is what gives us, the strength not to be dragged down by this world and other people.
It’s not about doing rituals or acts. It’s about loving Jesus and doing it for Him. Only He can fix, us only he can correct us, only He knows exactly what we need. In Him, I become completely brand new completely who He wants me to be. No one else knows what I am supposed to be, only my creator knows.
No one is to judge me as far as my salvation, my relationship, my love for Jesus, nor should I judge them. There is only one judge who will evaluate us, it is our savior and loving God Jesus.
Let us not forget today whose we are!
