Faith at Sherwood Oaks is about getting your hands dirty.  Whether we are serving the community by cleaning up storm damage, or helping construct homes in Mexico, Sherwood Oaks is committed to saying Yes2Love.  We believe that Christ chose to say Yes2Love when he took our place on the cross and chose to die for our sins.  Because He said Yes2Love we can say do the same. 

Service is one of the building blocks of our church life at Sherwood Oaks, and we want to help you find a place to serve that brings you closer to Christ and stretches the boundaries of your comfort zone.  Service can happen in big ways (Global Outreach) or small ways (saying hi to visitors on Sundays).  No matter what your gift, God has a place for you serve at Sherwood Oaks as we seek to live out a single commitment: to say yes to God’s  love and yes to loving others.  It’s a simple phrase, but one that can and will change your life if you let it sink in to the depths of who you are.

There is no one size fits all when it comes to church.  Sherwood Oaks is a big church in a small town.  We value family, community, faith and compassion.  We enjoy laughter and seek to build up disciples of Christ in a complicated world.  We love that our congregation is full of people from every walk of life and over 30 countries around the world.
