Fast forward to the end of the good Samaritan, and the wounded man is brought to an inn to be cared for. The good Samaritan provides the funds for the man’s care and leaves him with the innkeeper. Have you stopped to look around at the broken and bruised in your life? We might not be the person picking the man up from the ground, but we are often in a position to help care for others who have been hurt. God gives us the resources that are needed when we are the innkeeper and it is our duty to clothe, feed, and help our neighbors in need.
