Welcome to Sherwood Oaks Bloomington!
All services are held in our Worship Center.
8:00am: Traditional (with hymns, led by a small vocal team and piano)
9:30am and 11:00am: Contemporary (with choruses and songs mixed with hymns, led by a band)
What to Expect
Please use entrances at Doors 1 (Main Worship Center), 4 (Kids and Families) or 5 (Fellowship Hall & Chapel), which all have guest parking options.
For kids (2 and older), the Kids & Families Entrance (Door 4) gives you direct entrance to the children's areas.
Each weekend, we give our congregation an opportunity to respond to God's Word and His Spirit leading through worship! We offer that opportunity in a couple of key ways:
First, through communion. Jesus gave us a physical symbol to remind us of his sacrifice: bread and juice. Around the worship center each weekend are tables where communion is available. You'll be invited to approach a table when you are ready to participate.
Secondly, on those tables, you'll have an opportunity to participate through giving your offering. You can place your offering in a box in the worship center, in the designated boxes in the lobby or give online.
On Sundays during the 9:30am and 11:00am services, Sherwood Kids! provides age-appropriate programming for newborns through 5th graders.
If you're new to Bloomington, please visit the Kids and Families Welcome Center near the Door 4 entrance.
We strive to integrate every child into age-appropriate programming and provide individualized assistance for children with specific needs.
Please email us at email@example.com if you have a child with special needs.
We love middle and high school students and the impact they are making in Bloomington and around the world.
The Middle (6th-8th grades) meets at 9:30am in the Fellowship Hall.
High School Ministry (9th-12th grades) attends service together at 11:00am. Plan to stop by student central before the 11:00am service to grab a donut and hang out (Student central is located beneath the balcony stairs - follow the donut sign)!
