To Jesus, disciple-making was a way of life. He invited people to “Come and see” and then he said, “Follow me.” After a while, he told them he’d make them “fishers of men” before finally sending them out to “go and bear fruit.”
Making disciples was the core of Jesus’ life, and it must become the focus of our lives and the life of our church, too. Disciple-making is the process of reaching the spiritually curious, building up the new believers, and then equipping the workers to repeat the process in the lives of others. In this series, we will explore the model Jesus and other New Testament writers left for us, and see how we can all live like Jesus.
