Grace Changes Everything

Feb 14, 2026

When you truly encounter God's grace for your own sin, something shifts. You can no longer stand in judgment of others because you've seen what your forgiveness cost.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote: "Anybody who has once been horrified by the dreadfulness of his own sin that nailed Jesus to the cross will no longer be horrified by the rankest sins of another."

Confession doesn't just change how we see ourselves—it transforms how we see everyone around us. We realize we're all in the same boat, all desperate for the same grace.

Today, instead of praying "please forgive me," try "thank you for forgiving me." You've already been forgiven through faith in Jesus. Now walk in that freedom and extend that same grace to others.
