One thing Shawn said on Sunday that really hit home for me was “When we encounter the holiness of God and experience His grace, our natural response is to humbly serve Him.”
Isn’t that the truth? God is big. God is all-knowing, all-powerful. And yet, He shows us grace over and over again. And when He gives us this grace, it is our job to respond to it by serving others in the same way. What a blessing and a joy we have been given!
There are so many ways to serve, even in our own community. Volunteers are needed across many organizations. There are ways to serve consistently or for a one-time event. I encourage you to find your way to serve this week. In the midst of celebrating Thanksgiving and all we have to be thankful for, let’s bless others with the same thanksgiving.
