Jesus Invites Conversation

Jun 29, 2026

When Jesus asked the terrified disciples in the storm, "Why are you afraid?"—He wasn't mocking them. He was inviting them into conversation about what was happening inside their souls.

Maybe today you're battling fear about your finances, relationships, or health. Jesus isn't asking you to pretend everything's fine. He's gently saying, "Talk to me about it."

Your short prayer might simply be: "Jesus, I'm afraid." Or "Jesus, I'm anxious about this situation." These aren't signs of weak faith—they're the beginning of honest conversation with the One who calms storms.

Jesus doesn't shame you for your distress. He knows what it feels like to be troubled, to grieve, to face overwhelming circumstances. He invites you to bring your whole heart—fears and all—to Him. That's where supernatural peace begins.
