The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (John 1:14)
One of the greatest truths about Christmas is that God is with us. God pursued us that very first Christmas and He continues to do so now. He is dwelling, not distant.
The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means “God with us”). (Matthew 1:23)
He was with us then and He’s with us now. Let’s look for His presence this Christmas week!
