Were you able to watch some or all of the total eclipse on Monday? I will be totally (see what I did there?) honest with you. I thought it was going to be “kind of cool, last for a couple minutes, be something I think about for the rest of the day, a silly reason that people are stocking up on gas for.”
But boy, was I wrong?! It was an amazing experience - an experience that left me speechless. An experience that was so cool to have with my husband and daughter, even though she asked if we could turn it back on and if we had to go to bed!
This verse came to my mind: Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. 1 Chronicles 29:11 God, only God!
