Repentance is Freedom

Jun 3, 2026

We've made "repentance" sound like punishment. But what if it's actually rescue?

When Jesus said "repent," He meant: "Stop. Reconsider. The path you're on won't lead where you think it will."

Like a parent shouting "Stop!" before a child runs into traffic—it's not anger, it's love. It's protection. It's an invitation to turn toward life instead of destruction.

Repentance isn't about shame. It's about freedom. It's Jesus saying, "I know a better way. Trust me with your money, your relationships, your secrets, your pain. Follow me."

Obedience isn't oppression when the King is good. It's the pathway to the life you've always wanted.

What is Jesus gently asking you to reconsider today? That's not condemnation—that's an invitation to freedom.
