I’m still reeling from the whirlwind of energy that was the B-Town Worship Night that happened on Sunday. Rarely do I witness a crowd worshipping Jesus with every fiber of their being! What an extraordinary night it was, and it gave me the smallest glimpse of Heaven. The chorus of voices shouting in praise of God sent chills down my spine, and I like to imagine we mirrored a fraction of the angels surrounding the Father’s Throne in their worship.
At the end of all things, we will have Jesus. And at the end of all things, all we can possibly do is worship Him. When heaven and earth are remade, and all things come together in perfection, so will the Church. All nations, tribes, and tongues that follow Jesus will finally be together in one perfect place, and God will be at the center of it all.
Worship nights like the one last week are a blessing from God, as if to say, “Look at the unity that you will experience in fullness when I return. Look at the fruits of my Spirit when you praise me from one place.”
