The Coffee Lesson

May 11, 2026

We live in a world obsessed with convenience—quick fixes, instant relief, easy answers. But just like a truly great cup of coffee requires heat, pressure, grinding, and time, God's best work in us often happens through uncomfortable processes we'd rather avoid.

The beans and cold water are comfortable, but they produce nothing meaningful. It's the pressing, the waiting, the heat that creates something rich and bold.

This week, what if instead of reaching for your usual escape when life gets hard, you paused and asked, "God, what do you want to teach me here?" Don't settle for relief when God wants to restore you. The discomfort you're facing might be producing something beautiful inside you that couldn't come any other way.
