Following Jesus isn't about having it all figured out. It's about taking the next right step.
Step 10 in recovery says: "We continue to examine our lives, and when we sin, we promptly confess and turn to walk with Christ." It's the "rinse and repeat" step—the one-day-at-a-time step.
Childlike faith doesn't mean never falling. It means quickly getting back up. It's catching yourself mid-argument and softening your tone. It's stopping gossip in its tracks. It's putting the phone down when anxiety creeps in.
Salvation is a moment, but following Jesus is a lifestyle of confession and repentance. It's saying, "Jesus, when You point something out, I'll be quick to surrender it back to You."
You don't need a perfect plan. You just need to do the next right thing the Spirit is nudging you toward.
What's your next right step today?
