The Power of Confession

Jan 12, 2026

Healing begins where pretending ends.

We all carry something we hope no one discovers—a past mistake, a current struggle, a hidden shame. We work tirelessly to keep our "withered hand" tucked away, afraid of judgment and rejection.

But Jesus invites us to do the unthinkable: "Stretch out your hand." Show me what you've been hiding.

When we confess our struggles to God and trusted others, we bring our secrets into the light where they lose their power. 1 John 1:9 promises that when we confess, He is faithful to forgive and purify us.

You are only as sick as your secrets. The very thing you're hiding might be the doorway to your healing. Jesus doesn't shame your brokenness—He heals it. Your identity isn't defined by your struggle; it's defined by His grace.
