"Do you want to get well?" Jesus asked a man who'd been disabled for 38 years. It seems like an obvious question, but it's one we all need to answer. Sometimes we get so comfortable with our struggles—our codependency, our people-pleasing, our need for control—that they become our identity. That mat becomes our security blanket, even when it's keeping us stuck.
Jesus isn't asking if you deserve healing or if you've earned it. He's simply asking: are you ready? Ready to leave the familiar broken place? Ready to trust Him enough to take that first step of obedience?
Today, whatever you're struggling with, hear Jesus asking you personally: "Do you want to get well?" Your honest "yes" is the beginning of everything.
