Ask and you shall receive. Build it and they will come. It was meant to be. We hear these phrases often in conversation. I was thinking about our new preschool location in Bedford. We welcomed our first group of students three weeks ago. While there have been some learning curves, as with anything new, it has provided an amazing opportunity for us to glorify God. We had so many needs, questions, and tasks to be completed prior to opening our doors to students in August. Thinking back, I am astounded that we were able to accomplish it all in such a short period of time. But we did not accomplish it alone; things did not “just fall into place.” The Lord was with us every step of the way. He led the right people to us when we most needed them. He provided answers to our prayers in so many ways. As I write this and prepare to welcome students into our classrooms again tomorrow morning, I am grateful to the Lord and His provisions. I am grateful for our wonderful community of believers. And I am grateful that I have the opportunity to help shape the lives of these young children that are entrusted in our care. “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith” -Matthew 21:22 (ESV).
