In a world that often uses words to tear others down, Kevin Boyer decided to be different. As the Student Support Coordinator at an elementary school in Ohio, Kevin took it upon himself to write an encouraging letter to every student in his school.
And these weren’t just general notes of encouragement. Kevin took the time to learn the interests and hobbies of each student so he could make them personal.
The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 to “encourage one another and build each other up.” Speaking words of encouragement to another person is powerful. We have the ability to literally speak courage into another person and give them the strength to carry on.
