After kicking off the new series on money, I have been thinking of how I prioritize my income. Is the first thing I am focused on paying my mortgage? Is it budgeting for my next vacation or maybe saving for retirement? I find myself spending my time more focused on these aspects instead of ways to give back to God. These things are great to invest in and spend time saving for but should they really be at the top of my priorities. God has set an attitude of giving in our hearts and He wants us to be generous with our money. This should be reason enough that giving to others should be at the top of our list of financial priorities. As we begin to dive into the series, keep in mind how you spend your money every month.
