When Jesus told the paralyzed man to pick up his mat and walk, he didn't schedule a planning meeting. He didn't spend weeks thinking about it. He didn't wait until he felt ready. Scripture says he did it "at once."
Thomas à Kempis wrote, "Instant obedience is the only kind of obedience there is. Delayed obedience is disobedience." That hits hard, doesn't it?
We spend so much time analyzing what God asks of us, waiting for the perfect moment, gathering our courage. But healing happens in the moment of obedience—not after we've figured it all out.
What is Jesus asking you to do today? Not tomorrow, not next week—today. That impossible thing He's whispering to your heart? Start moving your feet. The healing comes as you obey.
