It can be hard to let go of worldly possessions and not buy everything we desire. I often have the mindset of just one more, and I will be done. Unfortunately, there is always more after that. This has become a never-ending cycle. But once we learn to let go and create a habit of being satisfied with the things we have, we can break this cycle. We could all make more difference in our world if we begin to use the money that we typically satisfy our wants and give that to those in need. The feelings of joy and peace while giving to others will quickly outweigh the amount you give. I like this quote by Levi Lusko, “the privilege of giving always exceeds the price of giving.” I challenge you to not eat out an extra time this week or not to buy the pack of soda at the store. Use that money to make a difference in somebody else’s life.
