Sometimes the Holy Spirit nudges us to take a BIG leap.
To step out in faith and share the gospel with someone.
To preach the Good News to a friend.
To share our life-changing faith story with a co-worker.
But sometimes, He nudges us to wait.
He nudges us to plant a seed and see what grows.
God sometimes calls us to connect with someone and then solely pray for that individual for a while.
As a person who likes to plan and prepare, I struggle to always listen to that “wait” voice. I think, “I have to do something NOW. I have to tell them everything I know. In fact, I must study as hard as possible so I don’t have any questions left unanswered when the time comes to share my story.”
But sometimes, the most challenging and important thing we can do is to wait. To plant a seed of God’s grace and watch it grow.
