Strapped

Most of us, at one point or another, have found ourselves strapped for cash. Our bank account was low and our pockets were empty. We were barely scrapping by. For many, this is their day to day reality. Studies show that 3 out of every 5 Americans live paycheck to paycheck. If you’ve been there, or are there now, you know that being strapped affects more than just your finances; it can absolutely consume your mind and your heart.

Because money is a heart issue, Jesus spent a lot of time talking about it. Not because he wants your money, but because he desires your heart. He knows that nothing in this world will compete for your heart or cause you to fear and fret more than money. He also knows that nothing can free you from financial stress like following God’s principles for managing your money.

In this series, we will explore the four key elements of financial confidence as laid out in Scripture and by our friend, Ron Blue. We will see how our financial Heart, Health, Habits, and Hopes come together to form a foundational framework that unstraps us from financial stress.
