A Life of Impact

Mar 9, 2014

Do you know when the Tempter or the Accuser is the least interested in you? It is when you are not being a light to a lost and dying world. When you are just cruising through life without having an impact on people and pointing the way to the only Way, Satan does not need to worry about you. In the first chapter of Colossians, Paul writes that he prays for those who are vigorously following Christ. He prays that they will have wise minds and spirits attuned to the will of God. Paul recognizes that people having influence for good will be attacked.

Let me suggest that we follow Paul’s example and pray for those servants of God. This could be your ministers, missionaries and even celebrities who stand up for truth. The more influence for good that a person has, the more likely Satan will focus his attention on them in order to destroy that influence. This week pray for those who are doing God’s work so that they do not fall into temptation.
