Every October, we take the time to recognize the new babies born, as well as adoptions and new families that call Sherwood Oaks home. This special morning is all about families! We introduce you to the congregation and then we have a special event for you in the Fellowship Hall, complete with cake, pictures and encouragement from our Sherwood Kids staff.

Family Commitment Sunday is a time when parents commit to raising their child(ren) in a Christian home. It is also a time when the church body commits to encourage and support the parents in the greatest of responsibilities.
