For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
Pray this prayer today: Oh, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, I come to you now, reflective and in awe that you would choose to send your son to the world to save it. As Christmas approaches, help me to remember to see the wonder of it all in every single moment of my day. Thank you for your promises without end and your love without condition. Help me to remember, in the busyness of today, that You are Wonderful. Amen.
