Sherwood Oaks Bedford is looking for a qualified male or female leader, who has a passion to invest in the lives of our Jr High and High School students and their families, as well as raise up volunteer leaders from within the Bedford Campus to serve in our Student Ministry department. This position is part-time, beginning at 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate responsibilities will include the following:
- Be fully engaged with the life of our Sherwood Oaks Bedford church campus
- Build and equip a team of leaders who desire to serve our student ministry community
- Pursue the 4 directives that shape all Sherwood Oaks student ministry teams (Community, Parents, Followership & Leadership)
- Work with Sherwood Oaks Bedford campus pastor to determine best regular student ministry gathering opportunities/schedule within the rhythm of the church
The Sherwood Oaks Bedford Student Ministry leader will report directly to the Sherwood Oaks Bedford campus pastor. Also, this position will meet occasionally with all Sherwood Oaks campus student ministers for times of encouraging, celebrating and equipping one another in our shared vision of leading students in a growing relationship with Jesus.
