As fall closes in on us rather quickly this year I am finding my self more and more under blankets chilling out on the couch. The days spent at the pool, hiking b-towns beautiful scenery, or camping with my family are just dull memories. The fact is I need to fight off the desire to hibernate. If I am not careful, I might just become that grouchy grizzly bear come spring that regrets wasting winter away.
Hello my name is John Muffler from with Sherwood oaks Christian Church with your minute message.
If you are anything like me, time can get away from us.
Ephesians 5:15-16 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
In the book of Ephesians Paul calls us to watch our lives closely so that we do not miss out an opportunity to honor God or to love others.
This fall is a wonderful time to reconnect with loved ones, a church family, and serving others in this community.
My prayer for us today is that we live a life of purpose, understanding that the time we have is a gift.
