It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. (Ephesians 1:11-12 MSG)
Such simple words. In Christ we find out who we are and what we're living for. Apart from our identity in Christ, we are nothing. God had already chosen us before we were born. He loved us before our parents, before our friends, before anyone. He set us apart to live a different, powerful, holy life.
Because we are united with God through His Son, we are His. Our first and only priority in life should be to live a life worthy of His love.
