Persecution and struggle can look like the end, but for the church, they often mark a new beginning. The story in Acts 8 reminds us that God’s people, empowered by the Spirit, are never defeated by darkness. Jesus promised He would build His church, and for two thousand years, not even the fiercest opposition has been able to stop it. In a world filled with uncertainty, anger, and division, we’re invited to model humility, forgiveness, and hope—living as lights in dark places.
Wherever you face challenges today, remember you are part of something unstoppable. Jesus is still building His church through people just like you who refuse to back down in the face of fear. Let’s pray for courage and stand with believers around the world, trusting that God’s kingdom is advancing, one faithful life at a time.
