Biblical counseling is a form of Christian care that uses the Bible, Christian beliefs, prayer, and practical guidance to help people understand and respond to the challenges of life. It seeks to address the whole person—thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, spiritual life, and circumstances—through a Christian worldview. Biblical counseling generally seeks to help a person grow in their relationship with God, develop Christlike character, find hope, and apply biblical truth to the circumstances they are facing.
