The Power of Unity

Oct 21, 2026

Unity is not just a nice idea—it’s at the center of Jesus’ prayer for us. In John 17, Jesus repeatedly asks the Father that His followers “may be one as we are one.” This unity is not about agreeing on everything, but about being deeply connected through the Spirit of Christ—loving, forgiving, and working for peace even when it’s hard.

Our unity is a visible sign to the world that Jesus was sent by God and that God loves them. When we choose humility, patience, and gentleness with one another, we become living proof of the Gospel. Today, ask God to help you seek peace and unity with those around you, especially with fellow believers. Your small acts of kindness and reconciliation might be the very thing that helps someone see God’s love more clearly.
