We ask ourselves, “What is the secret to success?” Arguably, the answer can be relative to each individual. But as Christians, our answers should look the same. The secret to success is surrender to God. That goes against the grain of social norms, right? But it is true. As Christians, the idea of our lives was made with great intention.
Do you know what that means? It means that the stress and pressure that you may be feeling about “being good enough” in your job, relationships, your accomplishments, etc., it’s okay to let it go. You are good enough for God, so you can surrender everything that is in your life (that you can or can’t control) to God. And you will be okay. In fact, you will be more than okay. You will have discovered the secret to success. And, speaking from experience, it’s the most freeing discovery you will ever make.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
